Focus Group Feedback

When watching the video of my focus group back, I had a list of things that I would change if I were to do it again. I would definitely change the age group as I had 11-12 year olds but my target audience is 14 and above. The girls were very helpful when it came to talking about colours and poses, but weren't very talkative when I asked questions about the video itself. When I asked if they had any ideas for what would look good in a music video, they didn't really respond. I learnt from this that older students or more mature students would be better to ask. I also thought that it would be a good idea to ask media students. They may have a completely different idea to what I have and their answer will be more mature and rounded off. I learnt from my focus group that for their age they would prefer bright colours and girly things. Knowing this, I want to produce photos that maybe have a more sophisticated or darker look and then ask people in my target audience range if they like this or prefer it quite girly like the younger girls.
