Final Digipak- The back page

This is the back page of my digipak and includes the tracklist and another picture of Katie. I have kept with the same colours and the same font to create synergy all the way through. I tried to make the songs sound as though they were inspiring or to do with how people looked or felt about themselves.

Final Digipak- Inside Page

This is the inside page to my digipak. It features a picture of the singer and a message written by the singer to her fans. I wanted to include this into my digipak as it gives a personal quality to the album and would act as an extra feature to intrigue and engage the target audience. I was inspired to write a motivational message in the album after listening to a woman named Caitlin Moran in a video talking about girls that struggle with how they look. I had also seen looks of posts on social media sites showing girls who were inspiring other girls to feel good about themselves because everyone has things they don't like about themselves. These posts where telling girls that should feel happy about things that they think are different because those things are what makes them unique.

Final Digipak- Front Page

This is the outside front page of my digipak. I wanted to keep it quite simplistic as I have seen other digipak covers that are very crowded and I don't think that they look as effective. I told Katie to look directly at the camera because I feel that in this photo it will really engage the target audience. By having Katie on the front cover it would ensure that more people are likely to pick it up as she is meant to be a well known star. I started off with wanting to have the front look as though it was handwritten to give a more personal touch. After experimenting with different fonts, I found a font called OSTRICH SANS. I thought that it gave a really modern appearance.

 ABBIE ROSE XX

Abbie Rose xx

- Tracklist;
SCARS TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL
ME
YOUNGER DAYS
MAKE UP
BE YOU
ALIVE
HAPPINESS
PROMISES
FOREVER
STAND BY ME
BY MYSELF
ON MY MIND
WHO ARE WE
LIVE AND LAUGH
I have chosen 14 songs for the album as after researching different digipaks quite a lot had around that number of songs. Here I have stuck to a convention. The song names that I have chosen are all made up (apart from scars to your beautiful) and things that could relate to image and feeling good about yourself. The name of my singer is Abbie Rose because both names go well together and it is a simple name. I did not want to have an exotic name because I wanted my target audience to feel a sense of normality and as though they can relate to this girl because she is normal just like everyone else. I chose the title 'Ordinary Me' again to help the target audience relate to the singer and because I didn't want the album title to be too long. Ordinary Me would should to her fans that she is trying to tell them that she is just like them. I chose to write a message inside the CD cover to engage the fans more. It is a lot rarer to buy a CD now because of technology creating free ways of listening to music. This message should be an added extra that might make the target audience actually want to buy the album.

Digipak draft 1

This is a Prezi to show the first draft of my digipak. It is quite basic but shows what I have so far and what I plan to improve on. I have also added the photos of my first draft below.
